Stay

For too long I missed

Your gentle way of longing

Me as your forever.
Thinking we would cease never.

But time do us part
And wise men intercede.

Your love stands apart
Falling as the rains recede.

Support and passion
Show some things are meant to be.
No combination
Of words ever see.

Take my hand, I write
Too busy taking my time.
Only fools rush in,
Impatience ruins rhyme.
But please stay within
I can't help my heart, foreign.
