Forever Home

When darkness

Is the only light,

And forever has said goodbye,

His love will bring you home tonight.

Wind gently drifts,

The beat of a drum softly slows,

Green fades to black,

But His love eternally glows.

Rain falls from trees,

The pink of a flower waves to rest,

Clouds shade to grey,

 But His love will burn in your chest.

For when leaves lie outright,

His love will bring you home tonight.
