Summer with You

We lay

Under the trees

One night in early May

Your eyes hidden,

Your body forbidden
Minds dancing
Time prancing

We stood
In the water
Surrounded by what could

Holding on tight
This moment feels so right
Feet walking
Hearts rocking

We stay
Close to the stars
Away from all we stray

Two oceans stare
Lean in, my heart can't bare
Souls wanting
Thrill haunting

We float
Above the sea
Protected by our boat

Give me your hand

Pull me far from the sand
Hands touching

Time clutching

We sight

The clouds move on

Shadows shading the light

Music fades in

Share your effortless grin

Clocks dribbling

Words scribbling
